LET US PRAY

written by Pam Morgan

When two or three of us gather, we gather in the presence of God, who created in us a clean heart, and an open mind. Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we confess our sins and admit the fraility of our humanity. We do this knowing that we are forgiven. We do this knowing that God calls us into action not absence.

Please take time to pray for all congregations, of all sizes and in all places. In this is the basis of our success.

Let Us Pray:

God of the few left--
Who teaches us one is enough.

God of the too old--
Who teaches us time is very short, we must learn fast.

God of the unchurched--
Who teaches us fellowship with strangers matters right now.

God of the poor--
Who teaches us that many colors bring many possiblities.

God of the unknown--Who teaches us that risk is always risky.

Help us to rise to the risk of
Being present--Enacting Ministry--Living our faith.
